Last years inaugural event was very enjoyable and some pupils from St Ronan's entered in different categories. We were very proud of our Yellow Flag diversity committee who won first place in the school logos category. We have two leaflets available to download here to help people at risk of, or experiencing homelessness. Homelessness is a growing problem in our community and we hope this information will be helpful.
Our annual St. Patrick's Day parade will take place on Tuesday, March 15th at 10.00 am in the yard to the rear of the school. All classes will take part and children are invited to wear something green, or something from their family's country of origin if they would like.
A concert will be held in the hall immediately following the parade at 10.30. Parents, guardians and family members are invited to come celebrate our national holiday with us. School will close at 12.00 pm on Wednesday for the Easter break and classes will return on Monday April 4th. The Board of Management has reviewed the Code of Conduct for Parents/Guardians and would ask all parents and guardians to take a moment to read through the revised and updated Code. The Code is available to read on the parents website by clicking here.
The Board of Management thanks all parents and guardians for their continued support and and compliance with these rules. Recently we produced a booklet for parents full of information. We sent a copy home with every child, but if you didn't receive one or for any reason require another you can download a pdf version from this site.
Simply click here or go to the "more" tab to find it. We hope you find it useful and informative. NEPS (National Education Psycological Services) produce a directory of health services for the Dublin area.
We have edited their directory to produce a document that relates only to the Clondalkin area. You can download this document from our website by visiting the downloads section of our site. Offering this information as a download rather than sending one home with every child ties in with our efforts as a green school and we hope it will prove useful to you.
