They provide a programme of events and workshops that appeal to people of all ages and interests, from children to adults and casual readers to book worms. Their line-up of events covers areas such as history, drama, poetry, music and literature. Do not be put off attending if you are not a big reader! You don't have to read to be inquisitive and that is what this festival is all about - fuelling the imaginations of people who are eager to learn and explore new ideas and opinions. View the programme of events here We are rearranging some of the sections of the website at the moment - working to remove old or outdated pages and make relevant information easier to find.
Please take a moment to check out the tabs along the top of the site and hopefully you will find some useful or interesting information. Our Educational Links pages are being updated on a ongoing basis and more links will be added soon. Walk your way to fitness with the Operation Transformation walking club!

The more the merrier! Welcome back! We hope you had an enjoyable and relaxing summer and that everyone has settled back into school nicely. A special welcome to the new junior infants and their families!
This year sees a change in the Home School Liaison office as Ms. Young leaves the post and Ms. Sinead Tully takes on the role. The book lists are now online to give you an opportunity to begin paying before the end of the school year if you wish. Connie will be available up to the 29th of June for anyone wishing to make a payment. Making payments early helps take the pressure off for September.
We would advise all families to check if they are eligible for the Back to School allowance. Information can be found here. This grant is issued by the Dept. of Social Protection to help families meet the costs for children going back to school. If you need to you can talk Connie in confidence to organise a payment schedule. She is available from now until the 9th of September. All arrangements must be made by September 9th. View the booklists on our Back to School tab, or by clicking here The Clondalkin Village Festival will be held the weekend of June 17th - 19th.
